AutoNavi’s Navigation Software is now part of Nokia Portable Navigation Device (PND)
As a global leader of communications hardware suppliers, Nokia demonstrates outstanding competitiveness in both R&D and manufacturing, and its products are well known by its classical and user-friendly design. GPS330, the first Nokia PND , targeting the automobile navigation market, has been doing great in Europe and U.S. markets since it was launched in 2006. Early this year, Nokia decided to introduce it to China with high expectation of its market performance. To better fit in the local market, Nokia, with its emphasis on product friendliness all along, chose the all-in-one navigation software solution of AutoNavi after a careful study and assessment.
AutoNavi, as one of the pioneers in the navigation industry in China, has already been supplying a number of PND makers, namely Shinco, Alpine, SpaceMachine, etc., with its digital map data. The proprietary technology of AutoNavi’s all-in-one solution is outstanding in its simple menu, logical design, as well as user-friendly interface. Our thorough testing has ensured a mature product with many features including touchpad, customizeable function set-ups and other personalized functionalities.
Nokia GP330 has been very well received by the market since its launch in late May.
